This is my recorded hypnotic induction talk. Just listen to it and let me take you into the marvelous realm of self-hypnosis. I lead you into a hypnotic state and give suggestions to help you develop progressively deeper states of self-hypnosis.
There is a period—after you've had time to get into a good, receptive state—during which I'm silent so you can give yourself suggestions.
Psychosonic™ Rhythm
You can choose an induction talk with the Psychosonic™ Rhythm in the background, or one without it.
The Psychosonic™ Rhythm is a pulsating sound designed on the basis of research to assist in hypnotic and self-hypnotic inductions. It helps generate brain waves conducive to hypnosis while masking distracting sounds.
Electronically generated, the rhythm is a "bi-modal, intra-phasic" set of dual rhythms calibrated to dissonate at just the right frequency. (This is not something you particularly need to know—it's just that I don't often get a chance to use words like "dissonate.")

The Psychosonic™ Rhythm is the product of efforts by an acoustics engineer, a couple of sound recording engineers, an electronic wizard, another psychologist in addition to myself, and a recording studio. (Fortunately these were all colleagues of mine who were intrigued by the challenge and who donated their time. Otherwise it would not have happened. The cost would have been prohibitive.)
Some people mistakenly think that listening to an induction talk makes it more difficult to develop self-hypnosis.
Not so! A recorded induction talk, by a professional (that would be me) is the fastest way to learn and develop the skill of self-hypnosis.
Subliminal Messages
Subliminal messages are words or short phrases embedded in the recording. They are a powerful way to get your subconscious mind to pay attention. They are completely safe because they are not actual "messages" – they don't tell you to do anything.
If you'd like to know more about subliminals you'll find more information here.
My hypnotic inductions are also available on CDs and audio cassette tapes. There is very little difference between the download versions and those on media. For more information about ordering, please see the drop-down boxes on the right side of this page.
